Even amongst the excitement there is some sadness. I guess this is my favourite rose's farewell bloom for me. I just hope the new homeowners look after this rose bush and treat it with just as much TLC!!

Can't you take it with you? It has such lovely roses... BTW did you need some of that copper mesh? I saw the thing about it being available at Michaels... there's a Michaels near me... I could get you some and mail it.... just say the word my friend.
Mich, it is a beauty. Even if you can't take it with you, you could probably take a cutting to try to start at your new home. It sounds like your move is an exciting one, even with the bittersweet little moments.
