Well, it went off again. The electric fence that is. And I found a headless chicken in front of the patio. Our security company's and our assumption is that someone is/was trying to poision the dogs.
Hubby is on his way home to make sure the fence is clear of all debris and that the house alarm is functioning properly.
Like I need this right now!!

Could the dogs have killed the chicken? We have free range chickens that live in the swamp behind our house... and if they are foolish and get in my yard, my terriers kill them and eat parts of them... Anyway, I hope it was just the dogs and not somebody up to no good. Want a protected by Smith and Wesson sign? We have one on our front door (bad neighborhood you know)... and we actually have S&W pistol's and a rifle or 2 ;-)
Can you have geese. they are great watch animals.
