So there I was!! Checking out our huge, huge garden and electric fence after the rains we had last night. I spotted these guys while keeeping my eyes peeled to the ground due to snakes. (Brrrrrr) They were hard at work!! Being the mom I am I thought this was way cool and called the boys and naturally grabbed the camera (grin). Brad was excited as he had seen a nature programme about these guys and the work they do. In a sense it became real for him which is cool, at least I think so.

Aha! Never actually seen them at work! That is a great set of pics, Mich. James thought it was interesting, too... Kate's not home to look over my shoulder right now, or she'd be talking about scarabs and such and be really excited that you got to see and take pictures of this!
Too cool... I've seen those tv shows too... I don't think we have those here... but how cool for you and the boys to catch them in the act so to speak.
Oh wow! Look at those fabulous critters work & will you just look at the size of the 'load' they can carry. How amazing!!
I have to tell you that if we had anything that wonderful in our gardens here - I'd never come inside!!
