After spending the day in my PJ's - yes! moms get to do that once a year. LOL
- An idea that I have had in my head for the past couple of days has finally made it into a sketch. Now for the biggie!! Transferring this idea to glass. I feel like I'm one step closer - I'm so excited.

I'm excited for you, just thinking about how wonderful it must feel to be planning this new project after a year when your lampworking had to take a backseat to so many other things. Some of those things have been good (i.e. the homeschooling for Brad), but all of it has required lots of work and lots of adjustment. I hope your 2009 definitely shines as the year when all those things even out and you can create lots of good glass along the way!
P.S. The blog rules are pretty darn cool. I agree that a blog is a place for self-expression and communication with people who have something constructive to say. . .we don't all have to agree on everything, but there's really no reason to begrudge someone else their own opinion in their own space! Thank you for allowing us to share your life, btw. . .you wouldn't believe how cool it is to be able to say, "Hey, this woman I 'know' from South Africa did such-and-such" or "My friend from South Africa tried this-or-that." Yep, these blogs are great for reminding us that "It's a small world after all":)
Yep I often quote, my FRIEND in South Africa too... and feel all cool and internationally savy just because I know you. Can't wait to see what's been cooking in that creative mind of yours.
So how is the new project coming?
